Black Princesses head coach, Yusif Basigi has arrived in London to begin a two-week internship with Pick Up Academy, a Crystal Palace annex.
The astute tactician, known as arguably the best coach when it comes to women football in the history books of Ghana, arrived in London yesterday and would be officially be introduced to the playing body of the team on Monday during their training session.
Pick Up Academy is a male and female team for footballers below eighteen years and has Nike as their sponsor.
The Sekondi Hasaacas Ladies coach was invited by the management of the UK based club for a two-week internship and also to share his ideas in women football with the team.
The former Black Queens head coach is expected to end the internship on May 30, 2019 and to replicate the ideas gained to help women football in Ghana.
Meanwhile, Pick Up Academy get their training coaching from English Premier League side Arsenal and Sutton United with their players recruited to Wycombe Wanderers FC, Brentford FC and Crystal Palace.
