Award winning rapper Sarkodie was crowned the artiste of the decade in the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which was held at the brand new dome Accra International Conference Center last Saturday.
The CEO of Sarknation beats competition from other notable nominees like Okyeame Kwame, Samini, Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Efya and others to clinch the ultimate.
Others to have won an award on the prestigious night were Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, Kidi, Kuami Eugene, Efya, Akwaboah, Medikal etc.
The winner for the song of the year category as well as the overall artiste of the year were not mentioned due to what transpired between two dancehall rivals Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.
