Head Coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has announced a 29-member provisional squad for a pre-AFCON camping in Dubai next month.
The squad which is a blend of the youthful and experienced players, has Asante Kotoko duo Felix Annan and Abdul Fatau Shafiu included.
Azam Football Club shot stopper Razak Abalora has been handed a debut call up to the senior national team with Misr El-Makasa deadly forward, John Antwi Duku who is currently the only Ghanaian forward with more goals this season excluded.
Also, Samuel Inkoom who is a regular starter for Bulgaria Premier League side Dunav Ruse while Sulley Muntari and FC Barcelona’s Kelvin Prince Boateng are all missing from the list.
The team is expected to move to Dubai in the first week of June to begin a three-weeks camping ahead of the tournament which starts on 21st June in Egypt.
