Ashfoam, dealers in foam products, has supported the Ghana Olympic Committee with $4,600 ahead of the 2019 Africa Beach Games to be held in Cape Verde.
The Africa Beach Games which will take place at the Island of Sal in Cape Verde is scheduled to kickstart on 14-23 June, 2019 with Ghana among the countries to participate.
Speaking during the presentation, the Managing Director of Ashfoam, Mr. George Massih stated that, the move forms part of the efforts to diversify the company’s corporate social responsibilities towards the Federations headed by the Ghana Olympic Committee.
President of the Ghana Olympic Committee, Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah accompanied by Lawyer Steve Asante Bekoe received the $4600 USD equivalent to Gh 24,656.00 cedis on behalf of the committee.
Mr. Ben Nunoo Mensah after receiving the cash said “Ashfoam has given life to Ghanaian children through this support and I encourage everyone to patronage Ashfoam products to able to do more for mother Ghana”.
Nana Yaw Apem-Darko, head of Marketing and Communications of Ashfoam was among the notable faces present at the occasion and has encourage Ghanaians to trust and support the athletes who will be representing the nation in Cape Verde.
“We have enjoyed a positive relationship with the Ghana Olympic Committee and this is just the beginning of a successful journey towards raising future Champions” he added.
