Kumasi Asante Kotoko avid supporter Seidu Yakubu Tabaya has been arrested in connection with the kidnap of the two Canadian girls.
According to report, the Canadian girls who were abducted about a week ago in Kumasi of the Ashanti Region, have finally been rescued.
Reports indicate that, avid Asante Kotoko supporter, Seidu popularly called MBA has been gripped by the police as the ring leader of the group that kidnapped the Canadian girls.
Seidu is populary known in the football parlance to have sacked former Asante Kotoko head coach Zdravko Lugarisic at the team’s training ground, Adako Jachie. His extravagant attitude led to Asante Kotoko disassociating themselves from him.
He has been flied to Accra alongside other suspects earlier this afternoon to assist the police in investigations.
