Udinese Calcio combative midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has donated hundred bags of cement to the Seikwa Senior High School.
The donation forms part of the midfielder’s social responsibilities to the school towards the completion of a new dormitory.
The 28-year old made the donation during courtesy call to the school on Wednesday, June 12, 2019.
Agyemang-Badu worshipped with the entire student body after which he admonished those interested in having a career in football to concentrate more on merging education and soccer.
He said ” I urge you to take your education serious because football has change a lot. Currently because of contract issues, footballers need to be educated not to get entangled in contracts that portray them as slaves”.
The former Ghana U-20 star had a topsy-turvy 2018/19 season with the Serie A side after a medial collateral ligament injury which was the reason why he missed out a chance to represent Ghana in the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.
