Kumasi Asante Kotoko winger, Maxwell Baakoh has been cleared to start rehabilitation process this week, Kyfilla.com can exclusively report.
The attacking midfielder has been on the treatment bed after aggravating his shin injury prior to Asante Kotoko CAF Confederation Cup home game against Zambian side Nkana FC.
It was reported that, Baakoh will be at the injury room close to three to six months due to the nature of the injury.
But Kyfilla.com copper-bottom report from the camp of the midfielder indicate that, he has been cleared to undergo rehabilitation process this week to step up his return to the field.
Even though he couldn’t enjoy much of the Porcupines games in the Confederation Cup, his performance was extraordinary which saw him netting two goals in the Africa campaign.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko failed to surpass the group stages after placing third in a group consisting of Al Hilal, Nkana FC and Zesco United.
The Kumasi based side are step away from returning to the CAF inter-club competition next season after booking ticket to the NC Special Competition tier one final and also in the semi-finals of the tier 2 of the NC Special Competition and will face regional rivals Ashantigold Sporting Club.
