Kumasi Asante Kotoko lanky goal poacher George Abege has arrived in Ghana, Kyfilla.com understands.
The Ugandan touched down at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra this afternoon around 2:00PM from Addis Ababa and has been flown to Kumasi.
The former Kariobanji Sharks attacker sealed a three-year deal with Asante Kotoko after a successful negotiations.
He is expected to undergo a mandatory medicals probably on Monday before officially putting pen to paper for the Porcupines.
Abege is expected to replicate his fine form for the Porcupine Warriors during the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
He has joined the likes of Ampem Dacosta, Justice Blay, Kwame Baah, Zoumana Traore, Bright Enchill, Matthew Kelvin Andoh, Richard Arthur, Godfred Asiamah and others who have completed deals with the Porcupines in the ongoing transfer window.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will play their first game in the CAF Champions League on August 9, 2019.
