The Black Maidens arrived in the country this evening from Djibouti after they walloped the Djibouti U-17 female team by 9 goals to nil in the ongoing Fifa U-17 women world cup qualifier Uruguay 2018.
Suzzy Dede Teye got the opener in the 27th minutes of the first while Mukarama Abdulai increased the tally in the 40th and 42nd minutes. Determined as the Maidens were to make the return leg a mear formality, Abigail Tutuuwa got the goal of the afternoon in the 44th minutes to end the first half by four goals to nil.
Mukarama Abdulai got her hatrick and the fifth goal in the 46th minutes and increased her personal goals in the qualifiers to eight goals.
Jacqueline Owusu got the 6th goal in the 48th followed by Mumuni Fusein’s powerful short who beat the goal keeper in post in the 78th,just a minute later,Milot Abena Pokua got the 8th goal in the 79th Adama Alhassan sealed the game in the 88th.
As part of preparation towards the return leg of the qualifier,Black Maidens will play a friendly match at the Ndoum Stadium on Thursday with Sea lions fc.
