Ghana’ senior national team Black Queens walloped their counterpart from Gabon 0-3 in 2020 Olympic Games qualifier today.
Goals from Juliet Acheampong, Portia Boakye and Priscilla Okyere were enough as coach Mercy Tagoe’ side nailed the Les Pantherés 0-3 at the Stade Augustin Monédon de Libreville.
Midfielder Portia Boakye opened the deadlock for Ghana before Juliet Acheampong added the second.
Finally, 24-year old Priscilla Okyere who currently plays for Spanish side Rayo Vallacano increased the tally to 3-0 in favour of the visitors.
The victory means coach Mercy Tagoe’ side are not far from securing a spot in the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. They will host the Gabonese in the return-leg in Ghana on September 3.
