The new Ghana Football Association’s statues proposed by the Normalization Committee has been adopted by the GFA Congress today.
The new statues proposed by the Normalization Committee was adopted today after the GFA extraordinary Congress held in Accra.

According to Citisports, 115 out of 123 members of the GFA Congress voted in favor of the new statues presented before the Congress by the Normalization Committee.
In the said statues, the new Executive Council will comprised of 5 premier league representatives, 3 representatives from the division one league, with the regional Football Associations having the remaining 2 member slots.

The remaining position will be given to the President of the Association, and a Women representative.
Also, the Congress will now be composed of 32 delegates from the premier league clubs, 48 from division one, 20 from the RFA’s, and the constituent bodies taking the rest.
The adoption of the new statues means, candidates who are interested to mount the vacant Ghana Football Association presidential seat among other posts can now start with their campaign.
