President of Ashgold Sporting Club, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has confessed that he forced coach Ricardo Da Rocha to use defender, Richard Osei Agyemang in their game against RS Berkane.
Kyfilla.com, before the game on last Saturday, broke the news that, the centre-back remain doubtful for the clash due to an aggravated injury, but was surprisingly fielded in the game.

Osei Agyemang came under huge criticisms after the game, with most pundits apportion the blames on him for the two goals Ashgold conceded.

However, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong has confessed that, Richard Osei Agyemang was not fully fit and head coach Ricardo Da Rocha wanted to bench him, but he forced the coach to use the half fit defender for the cagey encounter.
“I accept every blame and anything that went wrong during our game against RS Berkane because the coach tried to bench Richard Osei Agyemang but I stood against his decision”
“I personally told the coach to start Richard Osei Agyemang because we needed an experienced player at the back”
“We all knew Richard Osei Agyemang was not fit for the game, so I personally sent a doctor to Obuasi to treat him and make him available for the game”
“I forced the coach to use Richard Osei Agyemang because of the height and the style of play of RS Berkane”, he told Ashh FM.

Meanwhile, Ashgold defeated RS Berkane 3-2 in the first-leg at Obuasi and will travel to Berkane for the return-leg.
