Born David Nana Yaw Addae-Gyebi and referred to popularly as Nana Yaw Gyebi was born in Accra to Mr. and Mrs. Addae-Gyebi.
Married to Mrs Sandra Addae-Gyebi with 2 kids, all currently in Accra. Naa Yaw, as his listeners and fans call him is from Asante Akyem Agogo in the Ashanti Region.
He started his radio journey in September 2004 when he moved from Accra to Takoradi to join ROK 98.7fm, where he worked for 7 years, before moving on to join Goodnews FM 96.3 from 2011 till date.
He started as the Drive time host at ROK 98.7fm, been a versatile presenter, he sometimes hosted the mid-morning, mid afternoon and the lunchtime shows.
Naaa Yaw worked with Feeling Daddy who’s currently with Empire FM at ROK FM and with the late Oheneba Dadzie, Eddy F as well as Sista Pama.
He worship at the Presbyterian church of Ghana ,Praise Congregation- Efffiekuma and also serve as one of the key organist of the church.
He holds a Diploma in Human Resource Management and is currently the Deputy Programs Manager at Goodnews 96.3fm.
