Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, George Afriyie has told other candidates vying for the seat to start conceding defeat.
According to the former Vice President of the Ghana FA, twelve premiership clubs alongside twenty division one league sides endorsed his nomination forms and it’s a sign that most clubs want him to become the next GFA President.

“I have gotten the needed endorsement. Twelve premier league clubs endorsed my nomination forms with two of them undisclosed. Also twenty out of the forty-eight division one clubs across the country endorsed my forms, with five as undisclosed.
“I have contested for the GFA seat before and I know the dynamics in elections but I consulted astute club owners like Moses Armah Pakar, Nana Kwame Nketsiah, Nana Ameyaw and others and they all told me to contest for the election”, George Afriyie said after submitting his nomination forms today.

Meanwhile, personalities like Osei Palmer, Kurt Okraku, Nana Yaw Amponsah among others are still in contention for the seat.
