According to Professor Peter Twumasi, the Baba Yara Sports Stadium will be close down for massive renovations soon and the Porcupine Warriors will have to continue their Africa campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium.
“Kotoko might have to continue playing their African games in Accra over the closure of the Baba Yara Stadium for renovation works. We are pushing for it to happen.
“The renovation forms part of a grand scheme to improve the working standards of the various stadia in the country ahead of 2023 All African Games which the country has won the bid to host”, he told Happy FM.
