According to a statement from the club, the rebranding exercise has become possible after change in management.
A statement from the club reads, “Rahmasters Football Club, a juvenile football club based in Kasoa Ghana wish to inform the general public that, there has been some major changes in the management of the club.

Henceforth Rahmasters football club will now be known as Football Club Lion as management continues to work on improving all aspects of the team both on and off the pitch.
The new name will reflect the vision and position of the new management who seek to portray the club as a leading club within the confines of juvenile football in Ghana.

The new management will work tirelessly so the club can be a representative of modern football administration, keeping in mind our governing bodies, supporters, squad, and management.
We wish to thank our previous management members for the role they played individually and collectively to get the club to its current status.”
