Ghana Premier League heavyweight, Asante Kotoko have declared their support for aspiring Ghana FA President George Afriyie ahead of the upcoming elections.

George Amoako who is the Chief Executive Officer of the Porcupines declared the team’ unflinching support for George Afriyie ahead of the upcoming Ghana FA elections.
According to George Amoako who is also vying for a seat on the Ghana FA Executive Council, he has attended the manifesto launch of most of the aspiring Ghana FA Presidential hopefuls and believes George Afriyie is the right person to lead Ghana football.
“Kotoko [have] attended all the campaign launches, some by other members of the Kotoko family. I, as the Chief Executive Officer of Kotoko have the club’s support to endorse his candidature, and you don’t just endorse a candidature for endorsing sake, it means a lot” said the CEO.

Meanwhile, the Ghana FA elections will be held on October 25 with George Afriyie, Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe, Nana Yaw Amponsah, George Ankomah Mensah and Amanda Clinton to contest for the Ghana FA Presidential seat.
