Residents at Shama in the Shama District of the Western region woke up on Tuesday morning to a very sad and disturbing news as a man believed to be in his seventies has committed suicide.

According to information reaching the desk of Kyfilla.com, the 70-year old identified as Shaibu committed suicide by hanging himself.

Report says Shaibu was being pressurized by his landlord to settle his house rent owed and since he has no money to pay, he ended up committing suicide.

Even though the Shama District Police have officially not made known to the public the exact cause of his death, report says it was due to his rent issue.
Shaibu is a divorced Muslim with six children and was found dead in his room at Shama earlier this morning but the lifeless body has been retrieved by the police.
