The Western regional treasurer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Mr. Mark Ofori has been shot dead at his residence in Fijai.

According to information reaching Kyfilla.com, Mr. Ofori was shot dead by armed robbers at his house last night (29th October, 2019) and went straight to his (Mr. Ofori) room and shot him.
Report continues that, the armed robbers did not take anything from the house but struggled with one of Mr. Ofori’s family member who has currently been hospitalized.

The Western Regional Police Command have begun investigations according to reporters.
