Interim Head Coach of the Black Queens, Mercy Tagoe-Quarcoo has named 21 players for the 2018 WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations to be hosted in Ivory Coast.
The competition is slated for Wednesday, February 14 to 24 at Abidjan.
The maiden edition of the WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations involves 8 West Africa countries namely Cote D’voire(host ), Senegal, Niger, Nigeria, Benin, Togo and Burkina Faso.
Ghana is in group A with host Ivory Coast, Niger and Burkina Faso while group B is made up of Nigeria, Senegal, Togo and Benin.
