The Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) have expressed their disappointment in the Ghana Football Association for giving StarTimes the rights to telecast the Ghana Premier League.

The GFA confirmed on Wednesday that, the Chinese television company have been given the rights to telecast the Ghana Premier League for the next five years, beating off competition from GBC and other companies.

But it appeared that GBC offered the highest bid but the GFA ignored them for a meagre StarTimes deal.

A statement from GBC reveals that, the company made a bid of $1,100,000 annually instead the GFA chose $5250,000 StarTimes offer which comes up to $1,050,000 annually.
