Two buses have collided at Dompoase near Komenda in the Central Region with many people killed in the wrenching accident.

According to reporters, the gory accident occurred around midnight on Monday, involving two Buses, one from Takoradi to Accra and the other from Accra heading towards Takoradi.

An eyewitness explained that, the Takoradi bound bus tried doing overtaking and in an attempt by the opposite one to swerve, resulted in the accident.
Per reports, all the two drivers died instantly with one of them having his head completely chopped off with the rest of his body trapped in the mangled vehicle.
As at the time of filling this report, the exact number of casualties was still not known.
