The experienced goal poacher was adjudged the best player of January, 2020 in the league season after his incredible performance.
Yahaya Mohammed who scored six goals after six matches in the Ghana Premier League in January, 2020 received a personalised trophy and a television from the award sponsor Nasco.

Having beat off competition from Kotoko’s Justice Blay, Fuseini Zackaria of Berekum Chelsea, Prince Opoku-Agyemang of Medeama SC and Victorien Adebayor of Inter Allies to win the accolade, Mohammed took it to his official twitter page to express his gratitude.

He has currently scored eight goals in the league, same as Inter Allies talisman Victorien Adebayor after nine matches with Aduana Stars leading the league log with seventeen points.
