The date for the final funeral rites of late Sea Lions midfielder Berekisu Tijani has been announced.
The late midfielder passed away on January 3rd, 2020 after battling short illness and was also a level 100 student of the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

According to news from the family, the late midfielder will go home this Saturday.
Berekisu Tijani was part of the Sea Lions team that earned promotion in 2016 to feature in the Women’s Premier League.
Because of that, the Ghana Football Association has rescheduled the Women’s Premier League (WPL) match between Sea Lions and Police Ladies.

According to the GFA, the aforementioned match will be played on 14th February, a day earlier.
Berekisu Tejani died at the age 20.
