The Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah who double as the Youth & Sports Minister will go unopposed in the upcoming New Patriotic Party (NPP) Primaries.

Hon. Asiamah who assumed the Atwima Mponua Parliamentary seat in 2005 will be maintaining his seat during the December 2020 elections.
Since assuming the seat as the legislator of Atwima Mponua in 2005, Hon. Kwame Asiamah has served on committees such as the Public Account Committee, Finance Committee, Poverty Reduction Committee as well as the Mines & Energy Committee.

He became the youngest parliamentarian at the age of 29 in the history books of Ghana but currently Hon. Francisca Oteng-Mensah holds the accolade at age 23 in 2016.
Hon. Asiamah once served as the chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture.
Meanwhile, the 2020 New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries has been set for April 25.
