The Ghana Bodybuilding and Fitness Association (GBFA) have inaugurated it Western regional branch in a ceremony held at the Sekondi Sports Stadium on last Saturday.
The inauguration was chaired by National Sports Authority Regional Director, Jeffrey Owusu, the President of the association, Abdul Haye Yartey and other invited officials.
The President of the association, Abdul Hey Yartey in an interview with kyfilla.com said that Bodybuilding is a sport which promotes discipline. And called on every bodybuilder in the Western region to get affiliated to the association.
All those interested in Bodybuilding and the association should channel their energy in a right way which will bring a lot of benefits to them.
Yartey also mentioned that, the Western regional chapter will function well if the association puts in much work.
” I told the executives that,our sport is least financed and they have to put in much work to make the association run. Am going to ensure the association functions and will not collapse” He continued.
Meanwhile, the executives for the newly established branch were unveiled to the media. Below are the appointed members of the regional branch.
