Twenty-four Chinese were given the marching orders after landing at the Kotoka International airport on Tuesday.

According to the Ghana Immigration Service, the twenty-four Chinese were ordered to return to wherever they were coming from immediately after touching down at the airport.
At a media briefing held at the Ministry of Information on Wednesday, it was also revealed that one German was also asked to return back after arriving at the airport on the same day.

The government of Ghana since the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic, is putting measures to avoid the spread of the disease by suspending all social gatherings as well as putting restrictions on travellers.

Ghana has so far recorded seven cases of Coronavirus and the Ghana Health Service have warned of more cases likely to be recorded since the country has no robust health system.
Currently, countries like China, Italy, Iran, Spain, and Germany have suffered the highest number of infections.
