The Bank of Ghana has issued a statement that all financial institutions will be operating during the lockdown.
This comes after President Akufo-Addo announced a two weeks lockdown on some parts of Greater Accra and Ashanti region starting from Monday March 29, 2020.

Most businesses will be shut down for the next two weeks in the aforementioned regions as part of directives to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic.
However, a statement from the central Bank of Ghana has indicated that all financial institutions will be working during the lockdown, but must adhere to all the safety measures from the Ghana Health Service to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus.
