The Western region of Ghana has recorded thirty-three (33) suspected cases of the Coronavirus disease.
So far the region is yet to record a confirm case since the outbreak of the disease in Ghana.

Out of the 33 cases, 28 have tested negative, waiting for the results of the other five cases from the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Research Medicine.

Tarkwa Nsuem
– ten suspected cases were recorded from Tarkwa Nsuem with all testing negative.
STMA
– The Sekondi Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly (STMA) has recorded nine suspected cases with eight testing negative whilst the result of the ninth person is yet to arrive.

Ahanta West
– Ahanta West has recorded four suspected cases with the results of the four pending.

Effia/ Kwesimintsim
– So far only three suspected cases have been recorded with all testing negative.
Nzema East
– Nzema East has recorded only two cases with all of them testing negative.
Wassa Amenfi West
– Only three cases have been recorded with all testing negative.
Ellembele
– Ellembele has recorded a single case, testing negative.
Prestea Huni Valley
– Only a single case has been recorded which has also tested negative.
