[ads1]The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation’s (GNPC) Foundation has donated health items to hospitals, markets, prisons and bus terminals at Cape Coast in the Central region.
The donation forms part of the GNPC Foundation’s contribution to help combat the Coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
Led by its Executive Director Dr. Dominic Eduah, the GNPC Foundation donated 150 buckets, 840 bin bags, 1000 nose masks, 1500 liquid soaps, 2000 sanitizers.
Recently, the GNPC Foundation donated same items to institutions, markets, prisons, Chief palaces, hospitals in the Western region and on today extended the gesture to the Central region.

Speaking during the gesture in Cape Coast, Dr. Dominic Eduah stated that the GNPC Foundation is committed to fight against the disease and they’ll do their bit to ensure that the virus is kept at bay.
“We remain committed along with everyone else doing their bit to ensure that the threats of this virus is kept at bay and people are protected against getting infected.

Receiving the items was the Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan flanked by his deputy, Thomas Agyei Baffour, the Paramount Chief of Elmina, Nana Kodwo Conduah VI, and the Regional Director of the Ghana Health Service, Dr. Akosua Owusu Sarpong.
The Regional Minister, on behalf of the people of the Central Region, expressed his profound gratitude to the GNPC Foundation for meeting the region at its point of need as they execute measures aimed at keeping the Region COVID19-free.
The Regional Director of Health, on her part, called the intervention timely and assured that, following their needs assessment of hospitals, markets and other public spaces, these items would be fairly distributed across the region to serve as many people as possible.
