The soulmate of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who is the Vice President of Ghana, Samira Bawumia has donated food items and protective gears to the Pantang and the Accra Psychiatric Hospital.
The gesture forms part of the second lady’s contribution to compliment the efforts of the government in combating the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.

Mrs. Bawumia during the presentation indicated that, the items are a token from her to assist the staff and patients of the two facilities in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, Ghana has so far recorded 408 cases of the Coronavirus pandemic with 8 deaths and 4 recoveries according to the Ghana Health Service.

But globally, 1,793,224 cases have been confirmed with 412,538 recoveries and 110,892 deaths.
