Asante Kotoko technical bench and the playing body have accepted to slash down their salaries to support the Coronavirus fight.
This was disclosed by head coach Maxwell Konadu in a video sighted by Kyfilla.com on the Kotoko Express App.

According to coach Maxwell Konadu, he had a discussion with the senior players and they have agreed to accept a pay cut to support the club in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
“I have talked to the senior players of the team and they have agreed to slash down their salaries to support the team in the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.

“We don’t know when all these will end but as many people are supporting, I think reducing our salaries to support the fight”, he added.
Currently, Ghana has recorded 641 cases of the Coronavirus pandemic with 8 deaths and 83 recoveries according to the Ghana Health Service.
