Majority Shareholder of Ashgold Sporting Club, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong could name his son Emmanuel Frimpong as the new Chief Executive Officer of the club.
The position has been vacant since Frederick Acheampong resigned last week.

Kumasi based Oyerepa FM have reported that, Emmanuel Frimpong who is the second child of Dr. Kwaku Frimpong is being considered for the vacant position.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Frimpong, speaking to Oyerepa FM, expressed interest in the position and stated that he is competent enough to take over the mantle as the new CEO of the Ghana Premier League side.
“I am ready and competent for the job but let’s wait for the President of the club. I am ever ready and I know by the help of my father is [Dr. Kwaku Frimpong], I can”, Emmanuel Frimpong told Oyerepa FM.
