The Western Regional Football Association have paid a consolatory visit to the family of the late Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Chief Executive, Anthony Kobina Kurentsir Sam.
Led by executive committee member Mr. Anthony Osei and other members of the Association’s leadership visited the family of the late mayor to consolidate with them.
The late mayor’s unfortunate demise occured on Friday, June 12 after weeks of fighting the globally canker, covid-19.

One of the six children the late mayor left behind, Kweku Sagoe, who’s a sports broadcasters at ROK FM is among the communication department of the regional football association.
Other members who were part of the Consolatory visit were; Mark Bismark Owusu Mensah, Dr. Perigrine Pearce Pearson, both also members of the Executive Committee and Association Secretary, Julius Emunah.

Anthony Sam was sworn into office as the MCE on March 24, 2017 and spent 4 years and 3 months in office before his untimely demise.
He left the living at the age of 62 years.
