The newly elected executive council members of the Central Regional Football Association(CRFA) led by its chairman Mr. Robert Otieku Duncan today June 15, 2020, paid courtesy call on the Central Regional Minister, Kwamena Duncan(Hon.) at the Regional Coordination Council in Cape Coast.
The meeting which offered the CRFA Exco opportunity to introduce themselves to the regional Minister also discussed a host of issues including how best the two entities can work together to promote football in the region, especially in areas like juvenile, district and women’s football.
The Regional Minister congratulated the CRFA Exco. on their appointment and advised them not to disappoint the people who reposed their trust in them. He also urged them to bring novelty and innovation in all their activities with the practice of fairness and intergrety to change the fortunes of Central Region football. Similarly, he assured them of his support in all their endeavours.
” I pledge that the region, including all the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assembly will support you to bring back football to the highest pedestal in the Region” he opined.

Hon. Duncan asked the RFA Chairman to call on him anytime he wish to and he will be available to attend to him.
Hon Kwamena Duncan tasked the RFA to bring proposal relative to areas they may need assistance from his outfit.
The RFA capo thanked the regional minister for his warm reception and promissed to work effectively and efficiently with his team to promote the game in the region.
