The Chief Executive Officer of the National Health Insurance Authority Dr. Lydia Dsane-Selby has tested positive of the novel Coronavirus.
Dr. Dsane-Selby confirmed the news in an interview with Accra based Asaase Radio, where she appealed to family and friends who came into contact with her to isolate themselves as soon as possible.
In the interview, she explained that tests were conducted on her by health professionals and the result came positive on Sunday and therefore wants to appeal to those who came into contact with her to undergo self-isolation.
She added that, the NHIA head office in Accra has been disinfected and all staff who came into contact with her have been asked to self-isolate.
Meanwhile, the NHIA head office and all their branches across the country remains operational.
