Sitting member of Parliament Hon. Joseph Mensah has been defeated by Dr. Prince Hamid Armah in the NPP Primaries in Kwesimintsim Constituency of the Western Region.
Dr. Hamid Armah accumulated a whooping 222 votes as against Hon. Joseph Mensah’s 172.
He will be leading the ruling New Patriotic Party against the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming general elections which will be held in December this year.

Dr. Hamid Armah is the Executive Director of the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA) and has been with the NPP for over two decades.
He has served as Secondary Schools coordinator in the Western Region, constituency youth secretary, TESCON secretary and member of the regional communications team.
He has also held an elected office before as an assemblyman.
