Member of Parliament for Takoradi, Hon. Kobby Okyere-Darko Mensah has retained the NPP seat of the Constituency.
The Biochemist pulled 343 votes against Janet Edna Nyame’s 197 in the just-ended New Patriots Party’s primaries.

Hon. Kobby Okyere-Darko Mensah has been in Parliament since January 2009 and will be hoping to represent Takoradi Constituency in Parliament again during the general elections in December this year.
Aside being the legislator for the people of Takoradi Constituency, Hon. Kobby Okyere-Darko Mensah is also the Deputy Aviation Minister and the Western Regional Minister.
