Felix Annan will have it very difficult to beat Kwame Baah to the first choice position according to trainer Sampson Appiah.
Felix Annan who is the club’s skipper lost his slot to Kwame Baah after short break to perform his wedding rites.
Felix Annan, who’s also among the Black Stars and Black Stars B team prior to hia dethrone has represented Asante Kotoko at the CAF Confederation and CAF Champions League level as first choice.

He was part of the Black Stars team for the last African Cup of Nations in 2019 and helped Ghana to the gold title in the 2017 WAFU as a second choice goalkeeper to Aduana Stars Joseph Addo.
Sampson Appiah the Goalkeeper’s Trainer of the Kumasi-based side revealed on KwakuOseiTV that Kwame Baah did very well at the absence of Felix Annan and conceded less goals in the process.
He again added that supporters of the club wouldn’t have forgiven the technical team if Annan had unperformed in his cameo appearance after his wedding.

Annan has been heralded as one of the best goalkeeper in the country.
“Felix used to be our first choice goalie before his wedding ceremony but Kwame Baah grabbed the opportunity and did very well without conceding most in matches so how can you drop him.
“The supporters would have killed us if Annan underperform when given the nod. There’s no personal hatred for him but following the rules of the game.
