Owode-Eghado-based Head Pastor of Christ Apostle Church at Ogun Oluwa Parish in Ogun State, Nigeria has been apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly raping and impregnating his own daughter.
The Pastor, based in Owode-Eghado, at age 44, after a complaint was lodged against him by his daughter was picked up by the police and placed in the custody.
The name of the pastor was not given.

The daughter disclosed that her dad has a carnal knowledge of her since her mum’s demise in 2015.
She again added that she has been pregnant for the dad for three times and the dad has made her abort the baby on all occasions.
She proceeded by saying that her father through a nurse convinced her to go through a family planning to control the rate of her pregnancy. Adding that she was tired of the process.

The spokesperson of the state police,DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi confirmed the matter to the media – “On interrogation, the suspect made a confessional statement that all that his daughter said was nothing but the whole truth”.
Also, the Commissioner of Police, CP Kenneth Ebrimson has placed an order the case file should be transferred to the Anti-human Trafficking and Child Labour Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligent Department(SCID) for further investigations and prosecution.
