The Confederation of Africa Football has released new dates for the women’s juvenile world cup qualifiers forcing member associations to begin preparations ahead of the FIFA arranged female competitions.
The decision by CAF means Ghana’s Black Princesses and Black Maidens will have to restructure themselves to commence training ahead of the qualifiers for both competitions.
FIFA had switched times for the hosting of the biennial competitions for both FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup and FIFA Under 20 Women’s World Cup to January 20 to February 6, 2021 and February 17 to March 7, 2021 respectively.
The decision means CAF should realign for its members to compete for slots available for the two competitions rescheduled for next year.
The decision which was fueled by the emergence of the deadly coronavirus got members of CAF also breaking camp.

The Black Maidens who were a tie away from qualification will have to commence preparation ahead of games against Nigeria in a double header affair.
Per CAF’s new date the qualifier will be held on any of the dates following the weekend of October 30, 31 and November 1 for the first leg whilst the second leg is arrange for the weekend of November 18, 19 and 20.
The Black Princesses however has two months to put plans in place for their games starting September 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Both teams were made to go on break, but with the new dates emerging the Ghana Football Association will have to realign in order to ensure an adequate preparation ahead of the world cup qualifiers.
