Joseph Hendricks has likened Asante Kotoko detractors to HIV Virus, says they are very dangerous and you cannot see them with your naked eyes.
The former Asante Kotoko skipper in an interview with Benjamin Quansah of Connect Fm revealed there are several dangerous people at Kumasi who are always working their way to draw anyone in the helm of affairs to his/her knees.
This statement came to mind following the appointment of a 12 member board of directors, charged to steer the club’s affairs and the challenges likely to come their ways.

Ms. Evelyn Nsiah-Asare, the only woman among gallant, self established 12 names with Dr. Kwame Kyei, who has been rewarded with a second stint as their Chairman.
Other members of the board includes; Jude Arthur(Board Chairman of Ghana Commercial Bank), Kwadwo Boateng Gyamfi(Board Chairman Ghana EXIM Bank), Kwasi Osei Ofori(Chairman Erdmark Group/CEO Rocksure Mining Limited), Lawyer Kwamina Mensah(Corporate Lawyer), Alhaji Lamine(Businessman). Joseph Yaw Adu(Retired Directors of Sports KNUST), Baffour Kwame-Kusi.
Asante Kotoko are expected to put measures in place to represent Ghana in the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League, a competition they’ve struggled to make a mark-in in recent years.

The appointments of these gallant individuals brings to mind the statement made by the former Asante Kotoko center back, who served for 7 years at the club between 1999 and 2005.
According to Hendricks believes there are some people at Kumasi, like HIV Viruses, you cannot see them with your naked eyes unless you use an external object like microscopes.
“It’s true, we have a lot of people at Kumasi, I am telling you they are very dangerous, they are more than the HIV virus, you cannot see them with your own eyes, unless you use telescope[or whatever].
“Kotoko is like Alewaa[toffee], everyone wants to have a bite, even now that we are talking there are a lot of other people at Kumasi who are also looking to replace those there. They are like a virus, very dangerous, you cannot see them with your naked eyes” – Joseph Hendricks on Connect FM.
Hendricks also made 5 caps for the Black Stars of Ghana between 2002 and 2003.
