Jacob Wemegah is a Football Administrator, Hotel Manager, President of The Federation of Youth Associations in Ghana- Western Region, Executive Member WRFA and Entrepreneur.
He has over seven (7) years’ leadership and managerial experience in the hospitality Industry, football administration and youth work.
Jacob Wemegah before the start of the Division One League (DOL) 2017/2018 season, he was the Founder and President of Fijai Real United FC that plays in Zone Two and single handedly played in the Division One and survived relegation but later transferred management of the team Fijai Real United FC to Swedru All Blacks FC limited.
He is also the founder and President of Fijai United Soccer Academy, a Second Division Club in Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis of the Western Region of Ghana duly affiliated to the Ghana Football Association.
Previously, Jacob Wemegah served as a lecturer at the Institute of Aviation of Professional Studies (I. A.P.S) and currently holds qualifications in Hospitality and Tourism Industry- Cape Coast, Human Resource Management – University of Switzerland (SMC).
He is currently the youngest Executive Committee Member of the Western Regional Football Association and also the Vice Chairman of S.T.M.A Juvenile Football.
As a stanch Christian that fellowship with The Church of Pentecost, he also holds a position in the Youth Ministry of the church.
Jacob Wemegah is committed to promoting youth development and capacity building through organizing football clinics and thereby identifying talented street children and securing them scholarships to become better and responsible citizens that attracted Viasat 1 TV in the year 2014. https://youtu.be/O_pbNHiZYZg
Many teams, football administrators, fans are of the view that Jacob Wemegah has the know-how and the image to vie for the Chairmanship of WRFA after the current Chairman decides not to contest again after his team expires in 2019, Even though he did not declare his intentions of contesting the seat, many football loving people feels he is the right candidate for the position.
Jacob Wemegah is married to Madam Lekitta Jemeki Wemegah.
