Management of Akroma Plaza has contributed an undisclosed amount of money towards raising required charges for a patient at Ghana Police Hospital Dialysis Unit to undergo a kidney transplant to effectively improve her quality of life.
Dorcas Ofori diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease Secondary to Glorumeronephritis needs the transplant to enable her continue living a normal life.
Stanley Oduro Danquah who presented the cheque on behalf of Akromo Plaza says, the contribution is part of the company’s cooperate social responsibility. He said for management, helping to safe life is a calling.
Husband of the patient, Simon Ofori who is full of praise for the demonstration of kind gesture by Akroma Plaza towards restoring the wife’s health status narrating the challenge he is faced with due to the wife’s condition says life has been very unbearable
He further appeals for more donations for the transplant to be carried out in Apollo Hospital in India which will require 25, 000 dollars.
