Former President, Jerry John Rawlings has said his late former Vice Atta Mills was an outstanding Personality.
This was a tribute that the NDC founder was paying to his late former Vice President when he joined other party Executives to visit the resting place of late Atta Mills this morning.

Today, July 24, 2020 marks exactly eight years that John Fiifi Atta Mills passed away while in office as Ghana’s President.
According to Rawlings, he had differences with Atta Mills adminstration on matters relating to corruption but spite of all that, Mills was an outstanding Personality.

“This morning, I visited the resting place of the late President Atta Mills to pay my respects,” Rawlings wrote on Twitter.
“I had differences and misgivings over his Presidency on matters related to serious cases of corruption and killings in the administration before his.

“The Atta Mills I knew and worked with as my VP was an outstanding personality. I pray his soul rests in peace,” he added.
