One person has been pronounced dead in a fight between some NPP and NDC supporters in Nkrankwanta in Dormaa West Constituency.
The incident which happened on Saturday at the Dormaa West District office of the Electoral Commission during the mop-up voter registration exercise has also left two injured.

It has been reported that, the fight got intensed with three people sustaining gunshots wounds.
They were rushed to the Dormaa Ahenkro Presbyterian Hospital but unfortunately one gave up the ghost with the two reportedly receiving treatments.

The deceased has been identified as Stephen Kofi Labatu but names of the other two are yet to be known.
Speaking to the media, the member of Parliament for the Dormaa West Constituency, Honorable Maiga Alidu affirmed that the deceased is a staunch NPP member but the two receiving treatment are NDC and NPP members.
