The University of Mines and Technology (UMat) have appointed Professor Richard Kwasi Amankwah as the new Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Professor Richard Kwasi Amankwah was appointed the Vice-Chancellor of the University after the 75th Special Meeting held on Friday, August 14, 2020.

This was announced by the University in a release available to www.kyfilla.com.
He takes over from Professor Jerry Samuel Yao Kuma whose term in office ended on October 15, 2020.

Before his new appointment, Professor Richard Kwasi Amankwah was the Dean, Faculty of Integrated Management Science of the University.
