Former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Bernard Allotey Jacobs has said he will be astonished when John Mahama is declared winner of the forthcoming general elections.
According to Allotey Jacobs, John Mahama and the NDC have done nothing to impress Ghanaians to vote for them in the December polls.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Allotey Jacobs believes the ruling NPP government will retain power because of what they have put in place.
“Looking at what is going on, it will come as a surprise to me if Mahama is declared winner of the 2020 elections. When they (NDC) had their chance, they messed up…don’t take NPP for a joke…,” he said.

He also believes the NDC’s sidelining of their founder and former President Jerry John Rawlings would affect the chances of the NDC in the December polls.
“If they are building the party, I will see it and you can’t build the party without the founder…,” he added.
