Opoku Afriyie affectionately called ‘P’Kay’ has parted ways with the F-Giant Broadcasting Firm after eight years of unadulterated services.
Reliable source divulges that, Opoku Afriyie Richmond was recently not happy with the management of the station which has triggered his decision to resign from the station.

With his in-depth knowledge in the local game, the vociferous sports broadcaster is regarded as one of the best as far as local football is concerned.
His resignation comes as bad one for the listeners of Fox FM considering his contribution towards the success of the station’s sports show.

His contributions made the Fox FM sports show made up of Rockson Adjei-Yeboah, Jude Owusu Baffour and Gariba Rabiu a force to reckon with and one of the most listened sports shows Nationwide.

As earlier reported by Kyfilla.com, Nhyira FM lead the race to land Opoku Afriyie Richmond after losing Bright Kankam Boadu and his sports crew for Angel Broadcasting Network’s Pure FM.

Nhyira FM are facing keen competition from Light FM since Opoku Afriyie Richmond is said to be an admirer of Dr. Kwame Kyei who is the Chairman of Asante Kotoko Board of Directors and owner of Light FM.

His former station, Silver FM are reportedly in the race to land the unattached Opoku Afriyie Richmond despite Nhyira FM and Light FM taking the lead.
Opoku Afriyie Richmond has formerly worked with Dove FM, Silver FM before joining Fox FM some eight years ago.
