Renowned sportscaster Kweku Sagoe is on the verge of quitting Takoradi-based Rok FM.
According to reports gathering by Kyfilla.com, the astute sportscaster is set to bring his fourteen years of marriage with Rok FM to an end to seek for new challenge elsewhere.
It is believed that Kweku Sagoe is not only leaving Rok FM rather bringing his decades of being in the media industry to an end.[ads2]
Per reports at the camp of the intelligent sportscaster, Kweku Sagoe want to focus fully on politics thus keen on quitting the broadcasting job.
As the son of the late mayor for the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis Anthony KK Sam, Kweku Sagoe want to succeed his father in the political field hence the anxiety to quit the media job.
Though the management of Rok FM are keen on luring the ace broadcaster to rescind his decision, reports indicate that Kweku Sagoe is anxious of leaving the media scene to take over from where his father left in the political arena.[ads3]
Kweku Sagoe started his broadcasting journey at both Goodnews FM and Radio Maxx as an attachee from 2004-2005 before joining Rok FM in 2006.

He has been with Rok FM in Takoradi for the past fourteen years and currently serving as the head of sports.
Politically, Kweku Sagoe has been a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) since 2004 and has held a position as the youth organizer for Anaji Estate.[ads4]
Kweku Sagoe became an active member of the Hon. Joe Baidoo-Ansah’s campaign team in 2008 and in 2016 switched to the Sekondi Constituency to help campaign for Andrew Egyapa Mercer to become the member of Parliament.
He was also the aid to the Western Regional secretary of the NPP and Presidential staffer Charles Bissue.
He is a member of the Western Regional Sports Committee and member of the NPP Western Regional campaign team.
